A pianist, performance scientist, coach, founder of the Music & Mind studio in Brussels
Long story short.
I studied piano in a formal education context both in Poland (my home country) and in Brussels, Belgium.
In addition, I have a masters diploma from the Royal College of Music in London, where I studied the Science behind Music Performance. My goal was to understand how the mind impacts musicianship, music performance and musicians careers.
During my masters, I conducted and learned about the latest research on the key aspects of the psychology of music and artists education. My Masters Thesis topic was “How do professional musicians perceive the impact of yoga practice on their careers”.
After graduation I continued looking for a more comprehensive approach to a musician’s development, which sees and acknowledges an artist as a whole i.e. a sum of physical, mental, social, emotional, and spiritual forms. Yoga provided me with additional tools to fill this gap, so in 2022 I dove deeper into my own practice and the philosophy of yoga and I became a Yoga Alliance Certified Ashtanga teacher.
Currently, I’m pursuing a professional training to become a coach accredited by EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council)
